Product Care.

As with all glass items it is important to treat them with proper care and respect.

It is important that when using or washing glasses to avoid potential damage; you must avoid thermal shock to the glass. This is when the glass is exposed to a harsh change in temperature, such as, being exposed from cold to boiling temperatures and from warm to freezing temperatures.

Wherever possible to ensure a longer lifespan, try to avoid mechanical shock to the glasses. This is when glass items are knocked against each other or other items, overtime this can all add up and weaken the glass.

We recommend that when cleaning the glasses this should be done by hand in warm soapy water, using a soft cloth, and not in a dishwasher. Please do not use any abrasive materials as these may scratch the glass or effect the etched surface. Please note that when wet the etching will appear dull and transparent. Ideally rinse afterwards to ensure any soap residue is removed. The glass should be then dried with a soft cloth or towel, before allowing to fully dry naturally. When completely dry the etching will reappear at full clarity.

Wherever possible try to avoid getting fingerprints on the engraved area of the glass as these can sometimes leave a light oil print mark on the glass surface, effecting the visual look of the engraved design. This can be removed through washing as normal. Fingerprints and light marks can also be removed by moistening the surface of the glass with your breath, and rubbing with a fine cotton cloth, which should be sufficient to remove fingerprints.
