LMM Gubbins Definition, engraved slate coaster.
LMM Gubbins Definition, engraved slate coaster.
This square slate coaster has been engraved with the Lawrie’s Mechanical Marvels ‘Gubbins’ definition design, and engraved with some relief to be below the main surface of the stoneware.
The coaster measures roughly 10cm/ 10cm, but may vary slightly due to the natural edge of the slate.
The design is permanently engraved into the surface of the slate by hand using a sandcarving method; where by every design is cut, manually worked on and engraved into the surface of the slate. Due to this the fine details of each coaster may differ slightly to the pictures as of the handmade element.
This engraving method allows for a very fine, even and flat engraving on the surface, and a depth to the engraving within the slate.
The slate coasters are only suitable for hand wash only.
All of our slate coasters are engraved to order and dispatched when ready, usually within 3-5 days, and are sent via Royal Mail 48H Tracked Postage.
